Smallmouth on the John Day (May through August)
Cast poppers to the shore for eager bronzebacks as Bighorns frolic on the rimrock above. Some anglers catch 150 fish a day - with fish to six lbs. This 3-5 day, 70-mile float is comfortably paced, and a great introduction to fly fishing. $300/day per person.
Rainbows on the Grande Ronde (June through October)
Float and fish a nearly pristine, roadless river corridor in the northeast corner of Oregon. We typically average 15-30 fish per rod per day. Average fish run from 10 to 14inches, with trout to 20 inches...and there's great steelheading in October, too! 3-6-day float trips: $300/day per person.
Steelhead on the John Day (October 16th through February)
Enjoy private access to some of the best runs on America's most prolific wild steelhead river (up to 50,000 fish returned in 2001). There's no better place to catch a steelhead on a fly, and our catch rates tell the story: in 2002, 145 anglers hooked 305 steelhead. From $300/day per person, double occupancy. (Includes guides, private water access, private riverside cabinand meals.)
